Born in Illinois and raised in Florida, Real Estate and Estate Planning Attorney Michael LaCava graduated from the University of Florida, Levin College of Law in 2013. During school and thereafter, Michael gained valuable experience in the areas of Criminal Law, Personal Injury, Family Law, Real Estate Law, and Labor and Employment.
In 2015, Michael resettled in Illinois with his family, and shortly thereafter founded LaCava Law Firm, LLC, and began serving the Fox Valley area and surrounding Chicagoland. In a short time, Michael earned an excellent reputation for his thoroughness, knowledge, accessibility, and professionalism.

South Barrington is a residential suburb in Cook County, Illinois, United States, south of Barrington. The population was 4,993 at the 2018 census.[4] South Barrington is a wealthy suburb of Chicago featuring some of the largest homes in Illinois. It is the location of the famous megachurch Willow Creek Community Church, Goebbert’s Pumpkin Patch and Farm, and a lifestyle center (shopping center) named The Arboretum of South Barrington.

At the 2000 census,[8] there were 3,760 people, 1,147 households and 1,060 families residing in the village. The population density was 573.6 per square mile (221.3/km2). There were 1,172 housing units at an average density of 178.8 per square mile (69.0/km2). The racial makeup of the village was 69.6% White, 0.88% African American, 0.05% Native American, 26.6% Asian, 0.03% Pacific Islander, 0.53% from other races, and 1.78% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.84% of the population. In 2011, South Barrington was the Chicago suburb with the highest percentage of Asian people.[9]
There were 1,147 households, of which 47.7% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 86.1% were married couples living together, 4.1% had a female householder with no husband present, and 7.5% were non-families. 5.8% of all households were made up of individuals, and 1.7% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 3.28 and the average family size was 3.41.

29.8% of the population were under the age of 18, 7.0% from 18 to 24, 20.3% from 25 to 44, 36.0% from 45 to 64, and 6.8% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 42 years. For every 100 females, there were 97.9 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 98.5 males.
The median household income was $170,755 and the median family income was $174,318. The per capita income was $76,078. About 1.4% of families and 2.6% of the population were below the poverty line, including 4.5% of those under age 18 and 0.5% of those age 65 or over.

A small portion of the village attends Thomas Jefferson Elementary School (K-6) in nearby Hoffman Estates, Carl Sandburg Junior High School (7-8) in Rolling Meadows, both of District 54 and William Fremd High School (9-12) in Palatine of Township High School District 211. Another small portion of South Barrington is served by District 300, of Parkview Elementary School, Carpentersville Middle School and Dundee Crown High School, all of Carpentersville.
